Actions :
Gentamycin Sulphate is a water-soluble antibiotic of the aminoglycoside group generally considered active against a wide variety of pathogenic gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. The gram-positive bacteria against which Gentamycin Sulphate is considered active , include coagulase -positive and congulase -negative staphylococci , including certain strains taht are resistant to penicillin ; Group A beta-hemolytic and nonhemolytic streptococci ; and Diplopcoccus pnemoniae. The gram -negative bacteria against which Gentamycin Sulphate is considered active include certain strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa , indole-positive and indole -negative . Proteus species , Eacherichia coli, Kelbsiella/Enterobacter species , Haemophilus influenzae and Haemophllus aegyptius ( Koch Weeks bacillus ) , Aerobacter aerogenes , Moraxefla lacunata ( diplobacillus of Morax-Axenfeld ) , neisseria species , including Neisseria gonorrhoease and Serratla marcescens .
